Jason Keith

Jason Keith

Owner, Blind Occasions

Jason’s passion for window coverings began as many things do. First he saw a problem; then he developed the solution. His parents were considering replacing the blinds in their living room since they no longer functioned—refused to go all the way up, but wouldn’t quite go all the way down either. To Jason’s mind, there seemed an easier, cheaper solution than ordering an entire new set of blinds—he fixed them. Good as new!

Before long he learned that many homeowners faced the same issue. Believing their blinds were beyond help, they would rip them out and replace them with new ones, when in many cases a new cord would have done the trick.

When he first started Blind Occasions, repairing blinds—saving customers from unnecessary replacement—was his sole focus. Along the way, he became a true expert at evaluating what is reparable and what is, unfortunately, beyond repair and requires replacement. When asked about replacement by his customers, he found himself advocating for Hunter Douglas’s well-crafted products. In addition to the on-going continuing general education in the field of window covering repair and installation, he also went through extensive training to become a Certified Hunter Douglas Master Installer.

Having repaired literally thousands of window coverings, Jason is exceptionally familiar with the major window covering manufacturers. When the natural progression to add sales to the business presented itself, he vowed to only offer the best. Blind Occasions is proud to offer, in addition to Hunter Douglas, quality window coverings by Alta Window Fashions, Norman Window Fashions, and Century Blinds.

A life-long Arizona resident, with deep ties to his community, Jason studied business at Arizona State University and knew upon graduation that he could build a business that would combine a valuable service with a high level of customer care. Jason has been serving the Phoenix area for over 20 years and looks forward to continuing to exceed expectations and build lasting relationships with his Blind Occasions customers.

On the personal side, Jason is married to his loving and supportive wife, Crystal. They have a lovely daughter, Lilly, born in July of 2015 and their son Liam was born on the 4th of July in 2017. In 2015 they became happy, first time home owners. Sheeba, their 130-pound English Mastiff adds to the many blessings in Jason’s life.

Crystal Keith

Crystal Keith

Owner, Blind Occasions

Crystal was born and raised in Arizona, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Arizona State University and a Master’s Degree in Business. Prior to joining Jason at Blind Occasions, she worked in the financial industry as a Sales Manager for a large bank where she combined her natural affinity for numbers and analysis with her passion for people and client relations.

With expertise in sales, management, and finance Crystal has become indispensable to the daily operation of Blind Occasions. What makes Crystal the perfect partner to Jason in their family-owned and operated business is her passion for people and customer service, something they both care deeply about.

Crystal loves spending time with her family. Any day she can get them outside is a good day. They are often going camping, four wheeling or heading to the nearest lake or ocean. She is never shy about hopping on a quad or backing up a trailer. Her zest for life and search for new adventures always keeps her family on their toes. Crystal loves Arizona. She says, “It’s my personal playground. You have everything you need within a 5 hours’ drive. You can’t get that kind of diversity in other states.”
